If you enjoy a beer occasionally, leave your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can experience a win following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always drink and gamble. These activities just don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a little drastic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to toss aside your cash without a concern, then consume all the free beer your stomach can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your befuddled brain squanders every little thing!
Allow me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the internet to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my house, but since I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it’s clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
