Another Iowa water based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday blackjack tournaments.
Iowa casinos provide an excellent deal of tax revenue to the government of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of many state wide projects. Tourism has increased at a fast rate along with the demand for services and a gain in employment.
